Cheeko's going to think me insane...alright, this... this... is something I have absolutely no idea how it came about...
there I was, getting ready to color Cheeko's awesome inks which she drew for my yearly coloring birthday present (it's our tradition, you see) and I started coloring it in my old fashioned way... then somehow started jumping to realism out of only God knows where.
honestly, I'm looking at this and I think MYSELF insane... I even opened up a perfume magazine and looked for the adds with posing men for shadow references...
INSANE!!!!!
thank you for the strange coloring opportunity Cheeko. this certainly was one heck of a learning experience.
PS: this was painted over night for 6 hours straight from start to finish... YIPES!

Something about his hand looks a little odd... is it maybe just me? It looks like his index finger is rotated oddly somehow... or not obeying the light source? Ehh, don't mind me... I'm sleepy.
