hmm, oh yeah, I'm supposed to talk about this thing. right!

ok, first off, I am NOT, I repeat, NOT the one who drew that forest. I just colored it.

let's clarify that now, shall we? the forest is an actual penciled concept piece done by Bob Rafie who is the art director at Naughty Dog. I got the sketch at [link] and colored it in then slapped ottsel Jak in it because I was so proud of it.

now, the funny thing about ottsel Jak is that I've seen a lot of other artist who have done their version of ottsel characters from the game. but it never occurred to me to try that until I played the third game. I mean, come on! Jak was almost "evolved" into a precursor. then Veger gets turned instead, and I'm like "yikes! Jak was almost ottselafied!"

that's when the idea hits and I start thinking of a fan fic where Jak and gang get turned into ottsels accidentally. but that, as they say, is another story....
