The mind is a terrible thing to waste...~~~~~
something a little ... well ok ... a lot different for me.
I'm just going to play around with a few conceptual styles ...
Only the second piece in my gallery which falls into the 'horror' category. I think it has some shock value, but I probably won't delve too deeply into the genre...

Whaddya mean "back to good old nature soon"?! Surely your "new direction" was not completely encompassed in ONE conceptual work! Don't give it up so easily. You've proven that you have a good grasp on nature photography, I would think it's time to stretch yourself a bit.

well, you know, I've been doing conceptual pieces for years and mixing them in periodically with my other stuff (30-40 of them in my gallery)... so conceptual is not the new direction ... just the shooting style (ie studio lighting, makeup, and backdrops) ...you'll definitely see me doing more of that soon

Certainly a big departure for you. However, you prove to be more than capable of the task. Talents like you tend to be able to cross genres if their mind is set to it.

I haven't done anything like this in a few months ... since [link] . I have a lot of fun with them. Let the creative juice flow a little and see what you can produce. That can be refreshing especially when the weather is bad for nature photography
