Description
"What do you think? Stylish, right?"Part 2:
Part 3:
Art Notes:
I felt like drawing IF from the Hyperdimension Neptunia series doing a bit of rhythmic gymnastics. It's also the start of a short series- just a few pics, but hopefully you'll like it.

How do you get your bodies so consistent in any pose you draw them in?

I use a few techniques that seem to help- but I still think I could improve. I have a bunch of action figures I use to help- comparing the look from different angles, and then adjusting based on how the character I'm drawing is proportioned. One other thing I do is cut and paste the figure from an earlier drawing alongside my new pic. I can resize as necessary to check that I'm getting close proportions-wise. That doesn't really work for different perspectives, but the action figures help, along with guesswork.

Excellent work! I'd all but forgotten how even just tilting an image can convey a sense of movement and give it a more dynamic feel.

Glad you liked it! The other advantage of tilting an image is that I can draw the character larger inside the frame.

She is so cute and so sexy! And she blushes because of this!
Gorgeous girl, beautiful and modest! Sweet expression, the perfect outfit, amazing work!

Awesome Job! You are amazing! How do you do this amazing artwork? Can you check out my gallery and give me some advice?

The biggest advice I can give is to look at some of the pros and the work that they've done. JohnK's lessons on the basics of construction helped me a lot in drawing characters and also in making backgrounds. Getting the underlying structure right is key.

In addition, there's Andy Loomis' books on drawing humans (especially "Figure Drawing for all It's Worth" and "Fun with a Pencil"), Hogarths on draperies, and of course tutorials and lessons on Deviantart.
I'm not an expert, so I think it's best instead to learn from experts, rather than me.

Thanks! I wanted to make her outfit in the same colors and as a call-out to her normal uniform.

Looks pretty nice. I believe that If is supposed to be based on Rin Tohsaka from Fate/Stay Night and both voiced by Kana Ueda.
