I wanted to draw something simple but also practice some coloring techniques. I don't want to call this pic "retro" because it still has a lot of modern style to it (and I would need to get some more subtleties down for it to really be right), but I wanted to try out some looks from 90s-era anime while I was at it- from proportions to color choices and shading, as well as the inks. She's original, if you were wondering, even if the pose isn't particularly original.
