Description
At the moment I'm taking part in a community college photographing course. Our assignment was to go out and shoot different things in various perspectives etc. I shot about 50 frames in 30 minutes and only this one was a keeper. And only after some post-processing = sooc often sucks.

Thank you kindly!
Post process in a nutshell;
- shot in jpeg
- crop
- topaz filter 'portrait drama'
- adjustment layer monochrome (opacity around 50%) + layer mask on red lady = image becomes otherwise flat in colors but the red lady remains colorful
- flatten image / merge all layers
- curves adjustment to set the black and white points
That's it.

great, thanks!
just one more thing. Is the Portrait Drama the filter which gave you that mid tone contrast?

Yes it is. Otherwise default settings for that filter except I added the 'boost' setting to make it stronger.
