Description
TIME INDEX: 0001992: 308274: 4295Here we have a Dressing Loom image of the Braidy unit, 4786.058 minutes prior to the MCC malfunction that resulted in its eventful departure.
In this time index, the unit's hardware and software safeguards have been routinely disabled, and it is awaiting instruction regarding its next task. It is presently indecipherable from the countless other maidifiables "recruited" and brought to FMP to enjoy the privilege of serving the Grand Mechacracy.
It is impossible to determine from the recorded image that this single unit would be responsible for so much inconvenience and concern on the part of robotkind.
It is hoped that one day, the Braidy unit will be recovered intact for further study.

I am wondering if I just started something that we won't be able to stop...
This is excellent. I am glad that we are seeing more of a peek into the whole situation, as well as seeing Marshall's former servitude.

"Harmless."
For some reason, I really like how that sounds.

Maybe she'll get promoted like Earth did to 'Mostly Harmless'
It's just an ironic choice of words~

From "Number one enemy of machine-kind" to "Mostly Harmless?"
Not much of a promotion. (Well the Roboverlords would probably think so.)
It's a cute choice of words. I don't mind it.

However this brings up a question that just struck me. What exactly was so special about her to let her resist the brain-altering affects of the chip? We already know it's not pure willpower, as many people with incredibly strong wills have fallen to the chip's control....

Well she didn't resist the chip while it was functioning properly. Her chip just happened to break down.
She is special in the fact that she had the presence of mind to act when she found herself unsupervised, and in full command of her wits.
There have been other MCC malfunctions, certainly. You make several million of anything, and a faulty model will inevitable slip through even the strictest quality control. But no other maid had parlayed that slim opportunity into a legitimate bid for freedom.
Okay, yea there was Ishy, but she used magic.

Interesting. Tho that does leave one to wonder what ways there are to circumvent that chip. Tasha found one (By being naturally eager to do what the chip tried to enforce), but there are certainly others as well. Which also leaves the potential of a few other "hold-outs" just waiting for their chance.....

A maid resistance. Hmmm.
Heh, I could even see volunteer maids infiltrating these cells in order to route them out. A whole espionage game, played out exclusively in gag-talk.

Spy vs Spy... White uniformed maid vs. Black uniformed maid...
But yes, that works. Could even be, if they're entrenched enough, they have some manner/method of communications with the Amazons... tho I imagine their rather one way.

From a Mechacratic point of view, the complaint is the fact that it does not depict the present state of affairs.
But perhaps one day...

I was just thinking that this could be an example of Roboverlord porn, with pics of famous women that the FMP has been unable to maidify for reasons of difficulty or political considerations.
But that leads to the thought that there might be another type of Roboporn, pics of mechanicals tied up and forced to serve women, being posted and traded on illegal sites deep within the FMP internet.
The thought of what the FMP authorities would do to such perverts doesn't bear thinking about.

Machines being made to clean up after women is what brought about the rise of the Mechacracy in the first place. Methinks purveyors of robo-submissive erotica, would have to be very fleet of foot--or tread!
Interesting that you should bring up the concept of otherwise maidifiable women who are rendered frustratingly inaccessible by political expedience. I was considering designing a sexy president of Earth.
The Roboverlords would surreptitiously plot her abduction. (Natch. ) Of course she would ignore all warnings from AMAZON as the ravings of delusional radicals who should themselves be brought to justice.

...Oh, she'll be coming alright...so here's the challenge--can you survive an onslaught of attacks from someone whose existence can short out an armada of Gundams, Transformers, and Sci-Fi Robots? The corrosive watergun would be the least of concern...

A.) Who is "she"?
B.) Is she cute? (References would be nice.)
I like the idea of the corrosive water gun. Very creative.
Anyway, I'll probably just draw her captured first, and figure out how it was achieved later. That's how I got these two.
Although EMP hardened, Low-End AI Seekers, might be in order. Cermic Seekers might be of use against corrostive agents. Or NITE bears in rain coats.

The reference stups a few inches before the long, black socks, which are there just 'cuz. The shoes look like standard girl's tennis shoes in black, but wait until she uses them to fly.
That is "Asami=Yuko" in the pic.
Her corrosive watergun has many trigger types, so even if faced with one who's immune, she can surround herself in corrosive water--like a shield of sorts--to try and prevent capture. She intends to infiltrate and find something there...I'm not exactly sure what, because she has yet to record her escapades.

The source? Darkness...science made a container (her body), and magic filled it (power-transfer-type magics do exist.)! She got her darkness from someone's attack backfiring on their rival. A small hint on whose darkness it is: If provoked, you're in for a Black Onslaught.

Sorry, it's literally been forever since I regularly played video games. Just to give you an indication, my experiences date back to Playstation I.
So video game references are pretty much lost on me.
Much like magic based anything with the Anti Magic Generators FMP put in use following the dreaded Transmorgification Incident.

Ah, so you haven't gone past the fifth generation of gaming...
Rest assured, Asami=Yuko's not just magic...nor is she just science--in fact, I can't really properly describe--magic & science with a hint of darkness is an understatement...
A li'l rumor flies that she is so strong, any foreign item placed on her either stops working or simply falls off. I once tried it with this mind control item, and look at it now...

I'm surprised they really didn't figure it out yet, or just chalk it up to hardware (in this case, the control chip) malfunction. Cool and interesting seeing the Marshal at this stage, though! And great seeing your work again. ^_^

Executing "innocent" robots is one of her natural directives. Hasn't all those terminator movies she watched as a kid teach her that?
Side note.. I get the impression her release was deliberate as a long term plan. Rise to a position of power and in the end, deliver Buxom High Command to Da Clamps!

When she was our maid.
One can understand why the FMP initially 'recruited' her and want her back, and it's certainly sad that she turned around and caused so much harm to robotkind

So there're still trying to figure out what went wrong? Well I think this might lead to a interesting way to recapture her to find out. Also got to say that this kinda looks like the 80's style comics where the coloring was part of the printing process. It looks nice on the maids.
