"What do you think Imogen?" Lucas asked as he looked down at his canine partner curiously. As he stared he tried his best to gauge her reaction to the hustle and bustle of Canidale's Military base. The Texas Heeler looked up with as close to a smile as a dog could muster, she panted slightly from the summer heat. "You'll get used to the heat in no time girl!" Her handler reassured her as he gave her a gentle pat on the head. Excitement and determination twinkled in her master's eyes, causing her tail to wag with her own enthusiasm. Though she was apprehensive, she looked forward to proving herself to Lucas as well as the other dogs on base. This was a life vastly different than her old one on the ranch, but truth be told she was happy to leave her old life behind in lieu of a new adventure. Together they were going to be the best duo the Military had ever seen, both dog and owner were sure of this.
