Description

Bought an awesome design from Avomeir (kitty adopts ) and decided to doodle him up! Only made some super minor tweaks to his design.

Will hopefully come up with a character for this guy soon and use him for one on one RPS.
He's going to be a ship-faring cat!

Name: Vanya

Meaning: Russian pet name derived from 'Ivan' means 'Gracious gift of God'.

Age: Adult

Gender: Cis-Male

Orientation: Bisexual

Vanya experiences physical and romantic attractions to males and females.

Height: 14 in

Weight: 13 lbs
Species: Cat
Breed: Manx Maine Coon Mix (50:50)

Build: Stocky and muscular, Vanya is a hardy tom. Has tall, rounded ears and a short stubby tail with rounded facial features.

Fur: Thick, straight, and long fur that hangs off of his cheeks, mane, belly, and extremities.
Eyes: Golden schlera with fiery irises that get darker closer to the pupil.
Scars: None.
Personality: (+) Dutiful/ Earnest (o) Proud/ Tough (-) Abrasive/ Pedantic

Vanya is a hard working cat who is dedicated to his job as a ship cat and keeping pests off his master's boat. Surprisingly obedient for his species he will carry out orders exactly as they are given. His job gives him life and a full belly and he takes it with extreme seriousness and enthusiasm, as he is doing what he was born to do. His serious nature shines through in not just his task but in all aspects of his life. Some may admire his intense nature while others are put off by it, either way he simple does not care. Somber with little to no humor in his attitude, he is diligent and happy with who he is.

Proud of his achievements and work, sometimes he can come off as a bit boastful. To him the ship would not run nearly as well without him aboard it, he has a high level of self-importance that can be downright obnoxious to some. Years of sea-faring have made him into the strong tom he is today. According to him, nothing can scare or even intimidate him- from dogs to storms he will gladly stare danger right in the face. He is hardened and brave and looks down upon those that show any semblance of fear or indecisiveness.

Being such a harsh fellow, Vanya rarely takes the feelings of others into consideration. Not only is he blunt but he is rather rude, especially to those he views as lazy or useless. Callous and cold his austere presence tends to intimidate and frustrate those around him. Stubborn and meticulous this tom is very nit-picky and exact in his work. If you can't keep up with him then stay out of his way, no one gets in the way of Vanya's precision. He is very much a perfectionist and pays too much attention to the details.
