This is the cover of a short manga I'm be doodling. I freaking love writing about these two. I have a thing for couples who hate each other.
It's a pairing that came around completely by accident, too. A friend and I used to roleplay together over MSN. Deceptedo (the OC here) was my character - a gentle, though highly strung character similar to XXXHolic's Watanuki who was madly in love with Son Pan, turning saccharine sweet every time she enters the room, and therefore has a comical love rivalry with Trunks. Course, in the RPG Pan ended up with Mirai Trunks and Trunks ended up with Deceptedo in a bizarre twist that neither of us really meant to write.
Deceptedo: Innocent, shy, intelligent, loves cooking, reading, abhors senseless fighting, generally a flaming poof. Claims he's in love with Son Pan (is really in love with Trunks)Species - Human
Age - 19
Trunks: Angry, smart, jealous, easily wound up by Jeice, usually annoyed at something (more often than not Deceptedo whom he childishly nicknames "De-nothing-o"), very protective over Pan.Species - Demi-Saiyan

Haha, now that they have a fan I certainly will! I'm afraid they only appear together in my RPGs at the moment. Sadly I don't have any ficcage of them together. Yeah, I know what you mean. One of my best mates Stephen is always moaning that all the yaoi manga and fanfics he reads are too full of "feminine" guys - drives him nuts (which I think is hilarious because he's the most effeminate guy I know heehee).
Also, I personally love to keep the characters I write about in character, so you'll never see me write Trunks as girly. ^^

Yeah, he's basically GT Trunks, who was a much more assertive character than Mirai Trunks. I guess having grown up with Vegeta and Bulma, Trunks just turned into a take-no-shit type of guy and a little quicker to temper than Mirai Trunks, who was much more gentle. I know everyone loves Mirai Trunks, but I prefer GT Trunks - vocal characters are so much more fun to write!
