Oh dear, what have I done? I'm such a sucker for completely surreal pairings, but I do love these two characters - I found them surprisingly endearing, especially Link. Expect more of these two very soon.
I really enjoyed drawing in this style, too. I've paid a lot more attention to Dreamworks' style since How to Train Your Dragon was released.I'm such a kid. ¬_¬

I surprising like this pairing to. I even went on youtube but found no videos about those two together just a bunch of susan and dr.cockcroach stuff or regular amvs.

HTTYD was excellent and I made my flatmates, best friends and mum watch it when it came out to prove my point.
Monsters Vs Aliens is good fun, but admittedly isn't anywhere near as good as HTTYD. I guess I just love it for the nostalgic throw-back to the old 50s monster movies. Ray Harryhausen for the win!!

I hadn't thought of that, but it does resemble that Tarzan scene. It was just a sketch based on a scene in Monsters v Aliens.

Cheers! I really enjoyed doodling away in the Dreamworks style - I like the sharp angles and the big eyes, found it pretty easy to get to grips with, so I'll probably mess around with it for a while. ^^

Cheers! It was a much more enjoyable film than I expected it to be. It's kind of like a homage to the old monster and sci-fi movies of the 1950s like the Blob and Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman - I loooved those movies as a kid (and adult XD), so this film was right up my street.
