Wow... I... really enjoy this one! It caused a concept buried in my mind to surface... I can't remember if it's an original thought or one derived from film or TV, but it went like this...
If two dimensions/universes are close together, then there are chances that everyone on one universe has an equivalent on another... cracks between universes, or equivalents in the equivalent place, can trigger situations like these; poke yourself through the crack and you just might widen it and find yourself as your equivalent... of course that'll mean the original huntress is now a male hyena in pink boxers...
