Joy in the morning,Sorrow at night,
Such a terribly sad sight,
To see the tears fall on the ground,
This Christmas was red on white.
Pain in the morning covered well,
But at night it started to swell,
Why today, oh why tonight,
Why must this happiness,
With red on white?
Late at night,
She heard a gasp,
She tried to fight,
But her efforts didn't pass,
So the day ended with red on white.
Red followed blue,
All too soon,
As the doctor shook his head,
I can see it all clearly in my mind,
