Description
A beach on the California Coast just south of Crescent City. The way all the wood was scattered on the beach reminded me of a picture of beached whales I saw once so that's why it's a graveyard.I'm not all that pleased with how the driftwood came out in this shot but I think the sky came out great.
PSP 9 for minor brightness, contrast and saturation corrections only.

I really like this picture but again i like pictures with subject matter. You have a lot of sky in this picture and that is not bad but i would have liked a little bit more graveyard personally. People feel like the horison has to be at the middle of the frame. Try the top third of the frame next time or even get up above the graveyard or down in the sand to get a picture. You would be surprized at the effect of how you are standing has on a picture!

I agree with your comment about the framing of the shot. I shot several angles and liked the composition in a different shot much better, but I didn't like the depth of field in that one. Like I said in my description, I wasn't really happy with the shot except for the sky.
Maybe I'll put the one I like more in my scraps...
