You could have spared the ISO 1600. I kind of like the grain it gave the photo though. You did a really nice job panning with the birds. They can be tricky to follow but i think you have done just fine. Next time if you can help it compose the birds more to the right so their path of motion will lead the eye around the picture.

The birds kind came out of nowhere and I turned to get them as quickly as I could so that's what I got.
I tried to get them to come around again, but they weren't having it.
