Hey it looks really nice. It looks like the sun was about 90degrees to your right. If you had used a polarizing filter you could have removed a lot of the haze on the rock. But other than that beautiful. Did you use a Graduated ND2 filter?

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comment and encouragement. It was around 7:45 in the morning so you're right about where the sun was. Since I'm doing a lot of landscape shots I think I'll take your advice and get a polarizing filter. I've noticed the same problem with other shots, thanks! I assume the package would say, or I could tell by looking at the filter if it was graduated so I don't think the ND2 is graduated.

Thannks again!

Sure no problem. You would be able to tell if it was graduated if you looked at the filter. It would appear that it went from grey to clear as it went across the filter. You may want to invest in a set of them if you are taking a lot of landscapes. They can make up for over exposure in the sky and underexposure in the land. Let me know if you need any more help!

Keep up all the good work.

Thanks! If it's graduated, I assume they are not screw on filters but slide into a holder so the gradation is in the right orientation.

Just got back from the camera store. WOW. Those are expensive filters. It'll have to wait till June... Thanks.

Yeah that is the one drawback to camera supplies... they are extremely expensive. I have been playing around with pieces of glass and some transparent paint but it is hard to get an even coating that wont wreck image quality. Trust me i am not buying anything else for my camera for a long time !!

Keep up the good work!

That's cool. There's also a similar mountain called Devil's Peak, I think, somewhere in Colorado I think, but it's much taller.
