I sit here, looking up at a wooden, white washed skythinking but only for a moment before smile
I'm right where I want to be, the home of you and I
You always ask me why I stay what makes it all worthwhile
Well that one's easy, but would take a hundred years to explain
for reasons, they're vast and time is so short
but if I had to pick one, let's call it the main
reason I have here at my fore thought
it's how I admire the way that you live
for you see I want you to know how much I look up
to your courage and strength and what I would give
for one sip of the cup
I watch you carry every single day
yet grateful I am for place in the bed upon which you lay.
