Description This is a Peach doll/puppet for the purpose of flash animation. On the original file, each part of it is separate (such as the hair, face, legs, body, arms, etc), which allows the character to move.

I was originally really into hand drawn animation, but then I realized it is a lot more difficult, time consuming, and impossible to complete in a sufficient amount of time for 1 person. So I thought flash animation would be easier, and so I am going to use it for my latest animation series, Super Mario Twist. Hopefully I don't cancel it or get bored like I did with Super Mario Revival!

This was drawn on Paint SAI.

Peach facing forward took me 2 hours to draw and color, and her facing the side took 2 hours as well. I did that one the next day, however.

This is absolutely beautiful! There is this web series you can find on youtube called RWBY Β  (or if you have already found it) it is an anime created in 3d you might really like it! It opened my eyes to computer animation as well (Though Season 1 was...meh looking)Β  Β

I must say, it is not easy, but it is awesome what you did.

By the way, did you make the lineart with its separate parts on Macromedia Flash? I have Flash 8, but soon I will change to Flash CS3.

Thank you very much.Β

And I did the lineart with separate parts on Paint SAI. But since I'm new to flash animation, I don't know how to flash animate yet. I might use either Flash CS3 or anime studio. Is flash animation hard??

You're welcome :3

Well, Flash animating at first is a bit hard, but after doodling several times on Flash, and testing with curiosity, it gets much easier and more satisfying. When I first animated, I started with sprites, then I've adapted vector drawings, Swift 3D, and so on.
My mentor Jackurai has many Flash animations (but beware, some are "mature" with nudity or sexual themes) with complete puppets, but with only a few shadings, to make animating a bit easier.

Also, if you plan on animating, I'd say Flash CS3 is your best bet, since you can play with "Layers" all you want (also, the "Convert Keyframes" and "Clear Keyframes", as well as the Undo, are useful). I haven't seen enough "Long Animations" on Anime Studio, though.

Thank you for all the tips and information. And I checked Jackurai's works. I found them odd and a bit hilarious but they were still pretty nicely animated lol

When you have them Β done, would you please send them to me for backup, and so I can make slight edits in a separate file to see if you like them?

Thank you. But I'm really mad because I realized that I accidentally saved another picture over the file where she has all of her parts separate... Now I'm guessing I have to start over or think of something else

I'm so sorry! I wish I had flash, so I could help. Can I offer a few words of wisdom for making Daisy?
