I love your sonicesque characters, new colours and styles, you can see the style match but each one looks really unique, well done :3
Also, the biohazard, green and scene clips in the hair... all make for a really good combo, also loving the white fur? on the legs, whether fur or socks, looks really good and breaks up what would otherwise be a boring waste of space (detail wise)

It's a common j-style thing that moved into anime so it appears on a lot of characters so you were probably influenced by a thousand characters and didn't even subconsiously realise

I usually hate sonic fan characters... they always look so similar to the originals with slight hair changes or the addition of a tail... Recolours really make my blood boil (the only thing worse is when I see fanfics that include Shadow+ anyone). I'm not usually a fan of them but your art could convert me XD.

But most people haven't played SA2 where shadow was FIRST introduced and where he really was the coolest thing in existence... Had the only one he loved taken and killed, he goes on a rampage and has to be put in storage, has to show sonic how to use the Chaos Control technique and even proves he's better when he uses more 'power?' in the Chaos control blast that stops the space station falling to earth and saves everyone... Shadow dies while Sonic gets to live...go figure. Then in every game since and the tv series he gets made into the typical brooding emo kid. XD AH well.
You're searching for a name for a manta? Looking on Wikipedia for interesting words. Atlantic makes me think of 'Lanta', there should also be a sidekick or little sister called Morina (read the part about Remorinas

Yeah, I remember playing SA2. Damn, that was a good game. Then I played Shadow the Hedgehog and was just like....'No. He does NOT sit under trees and struggle to come to terms with himself. HE MUST KILL SONIC'. So yeah.

Shadow was faster than sonic, he basically did everything better than sonic, was smarter than sonic and though arrogant, he kept his mouth shut rather than the stupid blue puff ball screaming 'YEAH!!! IM THE COOLEST!!!', then in that shadow game, they slowed him down and made him rely on weapons?! like what... the... fuck...

I remeber Sonic Underground! Those songs were SO cheesy. And Ip layed Sonic 06, with Silver in it His gameplay was actually pretty cool, but the game SUCKED ASS.

The book is soooo old, far older even than SA1
Robotnic's name was Kintobor and he was a really nice guy untill one of the hedgehogs escaped and accidently caused a huge accident which blew up the lab, mutated kintobor and many of the other research animals before they escaped, robotnic wanted revenge ever since, it was all about time manipulation but i dont remember much else, ill track the name down and throw you a link to where you can pick it up.
Ironic that im not a furry nor a huge sonic character fanfic fan and I know more about most of the characters than most of them
