By the way I see how you drew her sword, it suddenly gave me a suggestion on how I should paint weapons. Like, adding those highlights on the edges is a sign by how sharp it is and etc. XD

Ah... well it does depend which side of the sword is catching the light, and how shiny the sword is! I actually made Benora's here quite rusty, but still sharp at the edges since I assume that she always sharpens and not shines it for battle. But rn it's getting rusty kek
And I'm still working on how to draw blades tbh, but yeah they can reflect like mirrors depending on their luster. You just gotta know the light source and the type of sword you're dealing with. As I said, study your kitchen knives or sword references on the net and tips from professionals c:

Well if you wanna know my technique for shading, it's mainly blending the colors, making them like a gradient, but more of balancing which shadings to make solid and which ones to gradient. I suggest looking around you for shading procedures, like how realistic shading looks like, and copy it, or learn from wha art lesson resource you have ^^ I'm just an amateur and I barely had any art lessons at all rofl I give terrible advice so just, just study your surroundings and find a reliable art source to learn from XD
