Ever since the chubby, little Merboy could remember, Flounder had always had an interest in Humans stuff. Like the books full of knowledge and stories that he rescue from the waters, or how clothes were made, and toys. Kind of ironic since the 14 year old was afraid of almost everything. He is shy around the other Merchildren, thus making him even more invested in the Stuff he finds from time to time. Not much of a talker, but if you start off with Human ships or rocks, he'll open up so fast that he becomes a different person. He would often go for long swims with his fishy friend, and stop to collect Stuff, rocks, and visit shipwrecks (after he makes sure there isn't any sharks nearby). Flounder takes up as a school boy in the village that lay underneath the castle. He doesn't like to fight back, but to use words to get out of trouble.

Of course, he always had Ariel by his side. She became more then just best friends to him, she took on a role of being his older sister as well. She would listen to his theories about Humans, calm him down when he gets hurt, and even stands up to him when he gets bullied. However, she gets a little too much for the Merboy. Whenever he wouldn't go into a ship because of the sharks, she would dive right into it, thus causing him to follow. She gets moody when things don't go her way, and complains about how much her older sisters annoy her. Never the less, these two remain best of friends for like.

One day, above the waters, there was a war going on. And with each ship destroy, it's cargo along with the ship, falls into the kingdom. The King gets angry by this and decided to make a storm so that no ship can survive (like the Bermuda triangle). After seeing the destruction of both worlds, wants to but an end to it. So he bravely swims over to the King (with the help of Ariel) and tries to calm him down and convince him the violence will not solve the problem. The King doesn't heed on his word and ignores him. Usually, the 14 year old would stop when he doesn't get listen to. However with the case of the kingdom, he refuses to give up. So He and Ariel goes to a cavern where he heard of these two Sea Warlocks brothers and ask for their help.

I had a lot of fun drawing these two out, expressly Ariel. I'm just to happy how her colors doesn't crash. At first, I drew Flounder as a skinny kid, but I remember the he was kinda chubby, so I changed it. The bubbles were fun to draw too. I'm not so sure about the seawater tho....I'll work on it more later. I didn't want to make Flounder a prince, just a carefree kid who decided to help his people.

Next one, the villains > hee hee hee.....
