It was a shame that you couldn't get any scars in the character creator in ME2 or 3. Ah well, that's what modding is for ^_^.

Well technically you can, the scar files exist ingame, just not accessible normally. I'm not 100 % about ME2, but in ME3 it is possible, I have seen a few Shepard with the old facial scars, you have to be mod capable though, on the BSN fourms, there is a thread that explains it through using the Coalesced.bin file, DO NOT ATTEMPT THOUGH unless your 100% you can do it, it will screw your game up, might cause damage to computer settings too (Don't think that would happen, but I have heard stories)
And I know what you mean, love my femshep's scars, made her look badass

It is a pain all the time, but some of the results can be very awesome, and then there are results like what you witnessed. Most I ever did was enabled flycam and a few other console actions, as well as the clothing, and just one simple out-of place character screws your game up
