The midriff was the happy accident, i didnt think of that when i thought up her past self.
As for coming up with Wendy, when i was trying to think of things that happen at a reunion that i wanted to do a spin on a discord friend brought up the running into your old bully and their kinda fat idea and i was like, im gonna take that and roll. So i did the script ( probably the part thats not important here) knowing i wanted to bring this character back later on. wendy's design, has a bit of mandy from totally spies and like some of my other ocs a little irl inspiration, in the large form of loverandilin, i was going to do black hair but find i like almost black better, i love the color purple so figured this would be the oc to rock it, i liked commentsamas ear duops so gave her a version of that that worked more with the long straight hair ive always been attracted to. I wanted her outfit to also draw the eyes either ul or down the body so i did the inner strip but found it lacking so played around with it and round the missing piece to be the white she now has. She was originally going to be wearing a dress but i originally drew it too short but found it looked better as a top so i found a complementing color to what she was wearing and gave her leggings and when i looked back abit i got a vibe for the under top shes got on, then i gave her gold arm bands cause i wanted to put a splash of gold to complement the purple and along with her necklace and earrings i felt it would help give off the sense of superiority that wendy wants to be putting out. Then with these ingrΓ©dients i worked on the final design abit until i got the oc wendy pic and then didn't like the tattoo so didnt put that in when i started drawing her in the comic.
