RUN! RUN OR YOU'LL BE WELL DONE!... she gon' be well done.
SO!
One year ago I really, really wanted to draw a fanart of Jasper getting chased down the beach by Alexandrite. However I knew my rusty art skills were severely lacking for such a task. I also had an idea about Garnet’s future vision, and a long running wish to practice digital art. So all that eventually came together as this comic.BUT we’re not quite done yet, there’s still the epilogue.

I was supposed to get started, but then I got distracted by a couple of shorter projects. And then I lost my internet connection for almost two weeks. I have some catching up to do, but the epilogue is a'comin'

Well done. This is one of the most heart wrenching fan works I've seen. I see this must've been a very glaring issue to you. Even I didn't take that tidbit from Rose's death into consideration. Should've been obvious. Of course, if this issue is ever brought up in the show, they could very well have already confronted Garnet about it before Rose died, with a much more peaceful yet still just as heartbreaking resolution. I doubt the actual show will ever get this rough, but they do throw surprising emotional curve balls at us.

That "It. Worked." line from Garnet in We Need to Talk really stood out to me, it could just be her shutting down Pearl but at the same time there was such weight behind it, and she must have known SOMETHING. If it went as far as here, we might never know, but it's a fun thing to play around with.
The story isn't quite over yet as I still have an epilogue planned, but I keep getting distracted by plot bunnies demanding short stories XD

OMFG this was AWE-SOME! You've sent me on an emotional roller coaster and your storyline was genius! I'm actually surprised now that Homeworld hasn't tried this exact plot already.
But most of all the feels! I have so many of them: I'm happy everyone made up, I'm sad for what Garnet endured knowing all this, I'm angry Pearl and Amethyst didn't 't trust Garnet to listen to her story, same with Garnet not telling them the whole story sooner! But mostly? I'm laughing my a$$ off hoping Alexandrite doesn't catch Jasper!

Thank you for your kind comment :3 There will be an epilogue following this and I promise it'll be as intense as the chapters of the main story. And we'll find out if Jasper got away from Alexandrite! (Hint: NOPE!)

Thus, Jasper's statement is complete, and she'll be in Alexandrite's grasp in two seconds.
The shadows here all appear to be portrayed logically. Jasper's expression suits her in the same way that the expressions of cartoon characters suit them, as it conveys the mods nicely while still being funny. You even captured Alexandrite's details nicely.
Yet again, Alexandrite is angry enough to show her second mouth. Great work, and this is a fine way to close off this chapter.
