Yes Blubasaur is awesome! I can't remember who my first starter was when I first played poke'mon for the first time, but Bulbasaur is one of my favorites! ^^
You should draw Ivysaur and Venasaur too! That would be cool! ^^

I love Bulbasaur because he learns a couple moves that can become rather deadly if you use them together. Poison Powder/Leech Seed. ^^

yeah I hear you. Today's poke'mon games are a bit more complex somewhat. Yet because of traits you can catch a Poke'mon that everyone sees as 'weak' and that poke'mon could end up becoming a powerhouse. xD lol
Still sometimes the older games are fun to play. I played a little bit of poke'mon yellow and was amazed at how simple everything was.

Yeah X and Y look cool. ^^ I can't wait. Black and White 2 were the last cartoony poke'mon games though, it's a little bittersweet actually.
