It's been a while. I can't even remember the last time I logged in to DA, but I've been feeling nostalgic for this site lately, so here's a photo of a moose from my latest trip to Baxter State Park. She likes to hang out along the shore near the ranger's station, and had a calf hidden in the bushes nearby. The ranger said a huge bull had been hanging out around the pond recently, but unfortunately I didn't get to see him, or any other bulls. My partner and I are going back up to the area in a few weeks. I've never been in the fall, so I'm pretty stoked to (hopefully) see some bulls in their rutting glory. Sandy Stream Pond is calling my name!
