I am madly in love with this spot..such a nice, quiet, peaceful little babbling brook that flows into Echo Lake on Mt. Desert Island. Unfortunately, in later spring and summer there are a lot of tourists and you don't get quite so much peace and quiet. So it is nice in a way to visit this area before the warmer months and enjoy the quiet solitude, even if it isn't that warm out and there is less greenery.
There are also less bugs.
I wasn't sure if this belongs more in landscapes or waterscapes, but since the water is the centerpiece.. yeah.

Oh wow, that is just incredibly beautiful. It looks like it should have a unicorn or phoenix...or deinonychus *cough cough*...around somewhere...

Hmmm...that's definately suspicious! Obviously there IS one around somewhere, or we wouldn't be thinking the same thing, right? Keep your eyes wide open when you visit that place...Hey, you never know, right?

Reminds me a lot of some of the creeks in NC. I always love those kind of spots too, especially ones with lots of moss like this.

Yeah, I always picture dinosaurs roaming around when I see landscapes like this.
