Well, most of us thought the attack was Aura Sphere (which Mewtwo can learn) or some lighter-coloured Shadow Ball and the figure was charging it which 3 fingers, which is what Mewtwo also has. ._.

Also, according to this "meme", people speculate that Sceptile's another possibility. It kinda makes sense because of the Fire, Grass and Water thing. But even if Sceptile joined the fray, Mewtwo shouldn't be left out.
