It's weird when some photographs look like paintings and some paintings look like photographs.

ah, you live there now? lucky you, i just get to visit in the summer. everyone says that i'm too young to have a good time at mardi gras, with the drinking at the parties for the krews. as soon as i'm 17 they say i can come down to have a good time at that nice party, but i don't wanna wait for another year after this year's!!! ah well, i can deal. it's still nice in the summer, a little muggy, but nice.

I don't live in New Orleans, no. I live about 80 miles away (in Mississippi, of all things) and visit frequently.

go where? to mardi gras? yea, i would, but there's the problem of me being too young for a driver's license, too poor for a plane ticket on my own, and in NJ too far away to get there any other way. i'd love to, but i have to wait another year. *sigh* i love visiting at Christmas and easter when i can, though. it's a nice change, from freezing snowy weather to warmer nicer weather. that isn't snowy. or cold. well, as cold. lol. i love looking at the snow, but i hate shoveling it.

yea, i'm counting down the minutes until i'm 17 and can go. aww, by then i won't even need the plane, just a car and hours between 6:01 am and 11:59 pm. lol. it always looks like a blast, i forget what krew's party my aunt always goes to, but she says that it won't be fun until i can drink and get drunk. sounds like a blast, getting drunk on that day before fat tuesday.
