Color me impressed! (hehe, get it? "Color"? ...i'm dumb) I say the costume looks great, and her face is spot-on. though I gotta ask.. is she pregnant? she looks kinda pregnant to me.

That was kinda the intent, yeah. I figure adult life starts early for people in the Avatar-verse, and particularly out on the ice- oh, they're both older here than they would have been in the show, but not by a vast amount.

Azula as a mother... *Shivers* she could have been raised by rainbows and puppy-dogs, and I'd still fear her parenting style.
As for a background... maybe an iced-up version of that big staircase in Titantic? that room screams decadence, and something like that, made outta ice, would probably be royal enough.

Although, I can see Hahn being Yue's buddy, if not necessarily a great one, and giving him bad advice when Yue's trying to figure out how to keep his fiercesome wife entertained.
"Just dump her in the cold water- she's a fire-bender, she can take it!"
"...I could take her hunting? That seems like something she'd like."

Mayhap- right now I'm working on prepping it for background (I've been coloring under the 'black outline' stuff that I'd scanned, copied and pasted, and erasing the white over the color- the only problem now is getting rid of all the white *around* them).
Yeah, I don't foresee her knowing what to do with a young'n- or, to be frank, a husband, or being adrift in a land of close-knit, uncowed people without much escort or backup. I'm still hashing out the whys and the whats, but until such times as those make sense- it's a pretty picture^^

Secondly I gotta say I LOVE everything about Azula. Love her face, love her clothes, love how her pose.
Thirdly something I CANNOT leave out. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how the fur on her clothes came out. Fabulous job. *claps* Bravo XD

Thanks^^ I like how it came out too- it's one of those things that's a pain to get look right, but once you figure it out, it's surprisingly simple- it just takes time.
Now to build the ice-palace around them...
