So the two are hiding for the larger creature, protecting each other. Though the predator looks to be uneasy as well, for the surrounding entities seem mysterious and threatening. Perhaps there is no direct propulsion of this energy by any of these things. What I mean is, no one is trying to scare anyone else. It's just a hierarchy of some sort. Or an evolutionary thing? Like the innocent looking ones in the burrow are the basic form, and the larger one is like a more advanced version. Regardless of its form, which may be perceived as better, stronger, tougher, still experiences the same vulnerability.Β
