Sterling Silver and Dendro Agathe.I found the cut agathe on a gem faire long time ago, back in the 90's. It's been hiding away in my drawer ever since, and when I started with metal crafts as an artisan, I finally knew what to do with it.
I am planning to set it in a three-rowed pearl necklace. We'll see.

This is a piece I made for myself and I still have it in my treasure trove, thinking about listing it on Etsy. ..I have a very small store since I make most of the things to order so they never show up on Etsy.

Indeed it was set from the back and pushed forward towards the "face" of the piece. Since it is a very thin slice of agate I decided just to hold it down with some "ears/flaps" on the backside.
