You got a thing for patterns, don't you?
Again, love the use of leading line, giving this photo more impact and action then it should. The colorful toning and highlights on the spent ammo really help to hold the eye in this image and make one wonder of their use.
As a small note, love being able to see the text and letter of the ammo box on the middle right. Really gives this photo a sense of a story.
And of course, as a military photograher, I had to respond to this.

the sepia tone is pretty cool, it's the right choice for this image I think. the angle is pretty good too, I dunno it might work well from a higher perspective as well.
