So, I don't want to say I've had an art block lately (because if I say I have one, then idiot brain will think I actually do, aaaand then we're in trouble) but I've not had a lot of motivation. Work, slow as it is, saps the FUCK out of me. All I want to do when I get in, is sit and mong out on games for a bit, then eat and sleep.

Someone posted somewhere that a good way to beat art-block or at least, art-apathy, is to listen to music. So, I did. The music of choice being 'Born Slippy' by Underworld. A pumped, crappy Ibiza anthem from the 1990s. As soon as I heard it, I KNEW it'd suit Candy to a Tee. So, this happened. Proof perhaps that music really is very good inspiration!

It was originally going to be called 'Mega Mega White Thing' which is a line from the song, which (I think) is a slang name for ecstasy, hence the little pill on her tongue; but, seeing as Candy is a cyborg, and not therefore susceptible to intoxicants like humans would be, In came the wires, and the title got changed. Simple! She's just getting WIRED, see? She's such a party girl.
