As many have commented before, these are absolutely beautiful. However, I have just one question. Did you model these characters on any one particular insect, or are they a composite of many insects?

Awesome colors and making the "female-in-heels" work realistically. I always wanted to do/see a mix of human and bug, and these are very detailed and satisfying!

Extraordinary. I think this is the most interesting insectoid-humanoid hybrid I've ever seen. I couldn't agree with RoseImmortal's statement more: "there is still something human enough that they might be compelling characters one could empathize a bit with, instead of being too grotesque."
