second playable race, the quelars. =]I will be releasing one playable race each week from now on, until the launch of the alpha test.

Uhh... I think the female has five fingers and male has four... Is it so and is it supposed to be so?
Not to mention three toes... the felines have just the same amount of toes as any mammal, you know...
Anyway... I don't think that the thick neck of the female looks good... but maybe it'll work on a model...
But I find the design really good, after all... the clothing (ooh, I'd really love to see those on a 3D model) and the staff are great, so are those parts of anatomy that I didn't mention.

Kitties! Every game needs an anthro character, it seems. XD I think her face proportions are fine (some kitties have small muzzles), but her neck is very thick. Even with a collar, my cat's neck was much thinner than it appeared. Usually it's the male cats that have huge floofy necks.

Oh that's spiffy. I love the fur and cloth textures. Conceptually, making males inspired from the larger predatory cats and females from the household types was clever. Really liking this, hope to see the rest soon.

I'm curious - why does the male have a head shaped like that of a a large predatory feline, while the female has the head shaped like that of the common housecat? I know that a lot of people like ot make the female of felinoid races look more 'kittenish', but in reality if they're the same species, it doesn't make sense for their heads to be such widely disparate shapes, since it looks like they are supposed to be evolved from big cats, and big cats do not have much body shape change between the sexes. They also don't have much marking change between the sexes either, so it doesn't make sense for the male to be spotted and the female not to be - spots are camoflauge, after all, and if it is going to be a case of one or the other of them having markings, it would be the one that bears the young.
Think of the evolutionary reasons behind the forms you've chosen them to take. Do they make sense? If not, change them. Even if the player never knows those reasons, the gameplay will be better if the race's appearance makes sense without the player having to think of reasons to justify the disparity.

they have more than just one type of heads, some will have lion heads, just like different birds have different eyes and different beaks. sorry if i gave the impression that they have exactly the same feature.

i dont want to limit the race into one single mold, they arent were-tigers or were-jaguars, they are in general, who has an upright body like that of a human but has feline feature faces and limbs. other races in the future will be like this too, they dont limit to one single mold.

I really like your art, don't get me wrong, I do.However, I do think that the female quelar came out looking like you just placed a cat head on...she does not seem to fit together.
