This was...quite interesting to make.The original was drawn on black paper with silver ink. which took 2.5 hours.
since silver could not be picked up as a solid color when scanning. it turned into a Black and white image. I then made it like this. the effect took about half an hour.
I kinda like it, and might make a few more angels in the same way.

I've done research about him! I've heard about the he wrote that he entrusted it's secrets to Enoch and some others, too. I am crazy about these angels!!! Not only do I adore Raziel, but many other Archangels!!

HUH this is a weird feeling, see, i have an OC since i was on high school named Azrael, he was some kind of angelical creature, but yet he was no angel -confusing i know-
one day i open a book and i see that Azrael is the name of an angel, and then you draw this angel here, almost like i made Az's first design O-O
of course mine is completely lame, specially back then... anyway, this artwork is incredible and from what i read, I WANT TO SEE THE SILVER VERSION! D:

Could you describe in detail how you made the glow? I figure the dodge tool was used a lot, but did you use anything else specifically that might not be so obvious?
