Heh, since I know the story behind this picture, I know that The Colonel did not get away with blocking that all smug with one hand unscathed. Doesn't change the fact The Colonel got a ton of style points for doing that.

I love the dynamics of the characters in this illustration.
The sword guy is putting all his might into this attack and the cloak guy blocks it with his bare hand. He's not even putting any effort into it, which is illustrated by his hand in his pocket and his relaxed posture.
