nah man you did good here. Overhead angle works and the action lines so fit the story tell of the scene you are setting. more action more multiple characters. don't be skarred!

I love doing shading and this work WEN-M did is so detail, it's like the HD resolution. Super high resolution quality. >___< That's why I see it.

this is an amazing picture
overhead shots are pretty difficult to pull off due to the unfamiliarity of the angle, but this is a pristine example. kudos!

I think I'm going to cry. This is so amazing, I wish I could do that, then I could make decent title screens for my games.

weird angles are cool, and you did really well bringing the characters and the background into a single picture here (it's something I notice you have a bit of trouble with sometimes). The branch in the extreme foreground really helps to give the scene perspective and show the viewer exactly where he's looking at the scene from. I also really like the cracks in the ground and the leaves laying there; they give the ground more personality instead of having it just be something for the characters to stand on. Backgrounds are just as important as the characters!
My only problem with this picture is the bloodspray to Kyler's left; it looks like it's coming from his elbow, rather than his blades, which is where it should be coming from if he killed a soldier with them.
Unless he cut the soldier's throat with his elbow, in which case it's undiluted awesome.

I think it's a great anlge, it really gives you a sense of spacing and lets you know what's happening where in a hectic battle.

His movement look as if it was a part of a greater set of movement. It's just weird to see him in this stance in which the picture stands alone.
Not that i don't caught what happened and how he moves, but i think this picture would serve better as a companion to some other picture (visualizing his other previous moves for example).
Otherwise, nice pencil draw.

Interesting picture. It makes me think of an RPG where each character is standing on their own square. The squares are integrated into environment very well, so it's not obvious. Probably not intended, but that's how I see it and it's very cool.

Although it is viewed from the top, it still looks pretty awesome!!!
Probably the only weird thing is the sword, which is makes the soldier appear awkward and not working with the perspective. In other words, it is too straight, instead of giving the sword more of an angle, which would help with this perspective.
Otherwise, it is really good.

I dunno, man, that looks pretty effing epic of a sketch to me. It'd be even more amazing colored. Would be easier to see what's going on at first glance, anyway.
But seriously, I don't think I've ever seen a drawn fight scene at this angle. Pretty damn unique!

I love this series so far. Amazing work. I love seeing your work before it's cg'd and uber-polished. Not that that's a bad thing, but there's something so much more visceral about pencil/pen/line work.
I find the bird's eye view intriguing. It says "This is the action" and the next panel would be the after-math. It works.
