I belief he is the first vampire I have drawn for Anima.I think i was too preoccupied with making his face less human like and his features were just a bit off.
I'm still more or less happy with the image though. this is the first image of 2009 that i actually used a perspective guideline to make the BG. I suck at it so just gotta start from the bottom...OTL

The background is better than you think, but for your level I'd recommend having used a darker overall appearance and more fog. maybe brightened the lights a smidgen to let the contrast help as well. It'd make the image feel more complete while covering up the fact that you're still practicing and learning how to make backgrounds you will be satisfied with.

Also apart from putting more fog and brightening the lights, if you wanted a more in-human affect let the eyes give off a slight glow -not the cheap alian glow, but something soft- it would bring in the light of the windows to the viewers...

The art is absolutely beautiful but I do miss the little stories that used to accompany them.
On a side note, the face reminds me, disturbingly, of a friend of mine. He does not get too much Sunlight and does not go out often...
