I belief he is the first vampire I have drawn for Anima.I think i was too preoccupied with making his face less human like and his features were just a bit off.
I'm still more or less happy with the image though. this is the first image of 2009 that i actually used a perspective guideline to make the BG. I suck at it so just gotta start from the bottom...OTL

nah yer perspective looks great, it may not be PERFECT, but you can totally pull it off without it taking anything away from the piece!
love the features, love the design, the only thing that kindof takes away from the piece is the white at the bottom because the rest of it is so dark it draws your eye in to what i would thing the wrong part, but even that comments is being terribly picky, and really who am i to say
none the less I love it, and I'd love to watch you work one day, one of those quick-paint videos maybe?

love this character. You did a great job on the face, so all the time you spent on it payed off in my opinion. And is he carrying his coffin with him? That is AWESOME!!! totally sweet. He actually looks like what one would expect a vamp to look like. Pale, human, but inhuman at the same time. different without being alien. Changed, but with an origin. And not one of those crap vamps who are just pale humans which kinda misses the point. Super work.

Im looking at this, while doing my homework for my 2d animation Background design class. Everything is a little skewed but it makes it more realistic. Awesome detail like usual.

Is that his coffin strapped to his back? Like the idea, so original. Something you would expect from a vampire, or at least one that doesn't stay in the same place long.
