This got crazier than the Earth boss, and this piece pretty much made me realize that I was going overboard with detail, in a bad way.And so one of this year's resolutions is to keep the details organized @__@

honestly it's a great piece, but the colors for everything is too similar, i have a hard time figuring out what was background and what was the creature. and your details are amazing.

Haha, crazy with the details is right. It's a little busy, which you could have fixed with colors.

I would agree, it is a bit too much. I don't really see anything besides the mass amounts of flares and such.
Hmm, if there is suppose to be a creature in there somewhere, maybe make it a darker value, not too much where it no longer looks like flames, but enough to distinguish where the creature is.
I kinda see where it is with the purples or pinks. Sorry if you didn't want it critiqued. I can't spell I know.

The piece itself is spectacular, but it took me a few minutes to find its face as well as pick out its limbs, and such forth.
