I spent way too many hours on this thing, and all the while thinking :"all this is going to be in vain..."I think at somepoint I liked drawing zombies/undeads but when I colored this guy, I was not in those times. I enjoyed working on it for the most part, but just not as much as other subjects as of late.
but then thats life, sometimes you just have to do it, and while doing it you should give it your best, regardless of how much you like it, the truth is; I found that I grew to like it if I give it a more honest try.
Once a great wise man told me how he did what he did not like for decades, he said :"take interest"
I pondered that for a long time, and I think when I draw pictures like this one, I finally start to understand.
I'm horrible with writing, but I hope you get some positive encouragement out of this. XD

Great work as always. I do have some questions though. Do you draw it, ink it, then scan it or draw it all with a tablet? If you ink it what pens do you use? I'm trying to refine the line art of my drawings and I'm not having much luck lol.

i pencil on paper and ink on the PC with a tablet, finish coloring in photoshop

I hope you never think your artwork has been done in vain. Even if you don't think much of it yourself, I'm always so inspired by your art work. I'm not much of an artist, but so many of your pieces have made me want to start writing (about the most random things sometimes! Haha) that I've never seen anything you've drawn I didn't take some kind of joy out of seeing.
On a completely random note, does Anima have a kind of purple theme or are you just enjoying that scheme right now?

I love this. Only one thing bothers me. On some parts in the body, its kind of blurry but then it had really sharp looking stitches. Check around low bottom part. Besides that, it overall wowed me.

Holy funk. This makes me nostalgic for Odin Sphere, simply because one of the final bosses is a multi-headed zombie super-monster thing with stitched-together entrail-like maggot-spewing necks and spontaneous limbs and overall unpredictable, shambling, nasty-as-hell features.
Both are equally works of art, this and that. That's not in offense, either, because the entire game of Odin Sphere was a masterpiece.

I don't like it.
I can appreciate the time and talent of this piece, but I just don't like the concept or the composotion. I think you can do better, and you have. The details really are breathtaking and all, I just think that the subject or design is not quite up to the bar that you set for yourself (or seem to at least).

The purple palet is very divers and the tones of purple bend in together very niceply the composition in the forground is full of details
