However, I do not draw them directly from their descriptions. I am using their myth as inspiration to design a modern character. Very often you might not see any link at all
, my mind travels far from the original idea sometimes.

The armor detail is what really sets it off, at first I didn't like the vibrant red in the picture, but the more I looked at it, the more it really seemed to fit! love the hint of his eye and his relaxed pocketed pose, very badass.

Ever go to see a movie because you see a preview of a character that's like ok they didn't show much but you just know this guy's going to pull off some badassness or is just going to be majorly cool when you see it. That's what I think about with this pic, if someone like him was put in a movie, you just know this character is pure badass. Awesome work.
