However, I do not draw them directly from their descriptions. I am using their myth as inspiration to design a modern character. Very often you might not see any link at all
, my mind travels far from the original idea sometimes.

I like it, but something feels off between the hair and the face... It may just be the lines are a little bold where they overlay the face itself.

What impresses me, as mythology buff, is that you retain the essence of the monster in the human representation. Fenrir looks very lupine, especially with his hair wisping about his eyes like that. It's as though he's restrained (as Fenrir was) waiting to break loose (as Fenrir would do at Ragnarok). Your designs like this also resonate with me as costume designs. It has a very operatic or theatrical look that makes it pop out, larger than life. One thing that I can say with certainty is that anything you do designs for or illustrate will quickly be identified with your art style more so than anything else. It's a very powerful, unique vision with excellent consistency.

Lol! That had crossed my mind, that perhaps that so called consistency is in fact a lack of variety. I decided that in the end, lack of variety or not, it's distinctive, like a trademark. It makes me think "Ha! Wen did that! I can tell!"

The colors also look gorgeous, regardless that I never would have imagined Fenrir in a red/grayish/white type of coloration. Marvellous. ^^
