It's medusa!! Did you know, that medusa is a creature called a Gorgon? At least, I think that's what they're called. Erm.. Back off! It's been a whole year since I was in Art History! >.>

I heard that to begin with she was a goose girl who had beauty to rival a goddess, or even surpass. Of course, the goddesses couldn't bear anybody being more beautiful, so they made her a Gorgan.
There were three snaky-haired Gorgan sisters, and unspecifically a gorgan is any ugly or repulsive woman.
