The concept was, he is tall and wise.So hes tall, and has a book (wise...hahahah)
2 hour drawing, 2 hour coloring, i had a hard time coming up with a color scheme. i still dont like the colors for the outfit much but i liked the wings.

*_____* AWWWW he is so clam the bishie..... so so pretty and calm..... and yes the wings are completely gorgeous and beautifull and everything... they really make a point in differing from other angel wings you've drawn before, they help give the whole thing the ethereal sort of divine calm, really different from the other warrior angels

First off, stunning design. So detailed and so believable, it looks like he could actualy wear that and still move. The colours for his outfit realy work in my opinion, the purples and greays really compliment he dark wings and skin tone.
Everytime I look at it I see more details and little observations that I missed before, from the spine of the book to the design of his feathers, this is a wonderfull piece.

How do make such beautiful costumes? They are always so outstanding! Are inspired when you create these drawings, or do just come up with in yur head. But i have to say your art is so origanal, and beautiful. Every time i look at yur art i blown away by the way it looks. You have some mad talent! Awsome job!

I think the color scheme looks great, but that's just me, it's the creator's call AKA you!
I just have one nitpick.
His left arm looks flat. The entire shoulder seems to be unshaded unlike the rest of the picture.
I'm not sure whether it's suppose to be that way or not, but I just noticed it.

I think the armour makes him look like a vicious bast.
A wise one, but fairly vicious nonetheless
Also, for a kinda cliche 'wise' look, you could go for lighter colours (light blue or something) with greys. Reds even, if you're feeling inventive.

Oddly, his feet and calves have to be my favorite part of this drawing. The act of walking with one's eyes closed either implies really great wisdom or none at all, which is a great duality in metatron's case.
