well, as sad as i am over the earthquake and the lost of lives, i know i should carry on in life. and pardon me for bringing it up again, i just cant help it. my prayers to those who lost and survived with sorrow.and yeah. some pole axes and i will try a short description this time.
the first one is pretty standard, just a poles axe, probably the most effective one as that matter.
the second one, i named it the cursed dragon. its supposed to have poison element on it. not very happy with the bladed part however, may be a redesign later on.
the middle one is called thorned affection. much more for magical staff usage. strengthens charm spells.
4th one, the wing of death. typical death element weapon. i liked this one when i was designing it.
5th one, narssarcistic undine. (sp?)
i had too much fun with this, i made the handle thick because i wanted it to be proportionate...thats why it looks more like a one handed axe...i might redraw this one as well. strengthens water spells. obviously...
if anyone of you wants to make any of these in 3D, i would love to see it when youre done.

I felt the same way also, and mostly I was paranoid when I heard about that news.
My brother was over at thailand at that time but lucky he made it safely back home.

I love these weapon designs... espescially the last two. Very, very cool.
But yeah, not pole-axes... these are more like just battleaxes. A pole-axe has a much longer haft at least as tall as the person weilding it.

they all look great, specially the death one and the undine one... you can see that you worked more on the death one, muhahahaha ^^
but, about the dragon, well... maybe the problem is that you made it look really as dragon wings... maybe if you make it plain, like a normal blade, will be more funcional... or, if for stress the poison thing, you could do the wings with nails coming from it, like a claw mixed with wings...

Gorgeous, once again, Wen-m, you are my weapon god! I love how every peice has a personality of its own. Especially how well drawn they are, and how wonderfully thought out each skill is for. Of all the nymphs, undine is my favorite, so I would totally go for the water pole axe. I would love to use your weapons and create specific characters for them. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to try it once or twice, but then you'd have to actually check out the characters! lol

the tragedy in Asia is not something that ye could have predicted... we can only feel sorry and help as much as we are able to afford.
the picture. man... sigh, I love ye. thanks to this kind of work ye're creating, I feel thankful for finding ye on dA. Thorned Affection has this kind of design that could have been used in Utena series...
personally, those two ones on the right fancy me the most, as they are bloody complicated.
