i had wanted to draw this for years, but yeah, only recently obtained a good reference of this form of his, so i finally was able to draw it.spent 2 hours on the pencil drawing, which was the bulk of the work. digital colors and pasting took about 30 mins.

My god, the detail! I love the scrollwork-esque stuff you did on the wings! And the halo! And the... Is that a Jenova-something growing out of him? It's beautiful, in any case. And all of those gorgeous colors took you only thirty minutes??? DAAAAAAAAAMN! I am madly envious of your skills, meng.

Wow. I can't wait until I can get some art lessons to improve my own work.
That and actually sit down and practice said lessons. Plus learn some computer art programs...

You are my favorite artist on Deviant Art. Your Demons and Angels are all so detailed, and that happens to be one of my main interests. This Sephiroth form is something I've wanted to do as well, and I might still, though I'll never do it as well as you have here. I've much to learn as an artist. Still, it's good to see things every now and then that put me and my slight ego in it's place. With your artwork it's always every 'now' that I feel awed and overshadowed, but that's the way it is. There's always someone better. Well, you're my better, but still my favorite. My jealousy does not outshine my idolitry... Or something... That's supposed to sound funnier than the words make it... This is gorgeous, and I just figured it was time I put a favorite mark on one of your works, since for some insane reason I hadn't done that yet. I'll be back!
