i had wanted to draw this for years, but yeah, only recently obtained a good reference of this form of his, so i finally was able to draw it.spent 2 hours on the pencil drawing, which was the bulk of the work. digital colors and pasting took about 30 mins.

Oh~ So that's what he looks like in close detail. I could never really tell before just from playing the game what Sephy looked like in his final tranformation. Very interesting.

and the thing is, I just recently advent children, last order, got back to playing FF7, and I'm even going to run a D&D campaign on FF7's world! and when I get back here to deviantART, I see this. oh crap!
I NEVER managed to get a good ref for savior sephiroth, I wonder what was that you got. the thing you did with the wings and the circle-thingie behind him is just amazing. my only critique would be with his hair, but oh, nevermind!

Wen is there any chance you can PM or give a link for the reference? I have been curious to draw him in this form as well. Its a beautiful drawing and nice interpretations. I can see how the colors only took 30 min though it is very minimal so it doesnt intefere with such great and detailed pencil work. I have a few references so far, but most are so small.
